3M™ Coban™ Self-Adherent Wrap with Latex is a non-sterile self-adherent elastic compression wrap that functions like a tape but sticks only to itself and not to skin, hair, drapes or clothing. Available in a variety of widths, it is ideal for holding dressings in place, securing devices to patients and supporting strains and sprains. This medical compression wrap is easy to apply and remove, adjustable during application and it can be cut to the appropriate length with scissors. It can be worn for up to 7 days on the leg when used as part of a venous leg ulcer management program and it may also be used as a component in other compression wrap systems only under the supervision of a wound care specialist. Suitable for patients who do not have an allergy to natural rubber latex — including those with at-risk and fragile skin — 3M™ Coban™ Self-Adherent Wrap with Latex helps protect wound sites and immobilise injuries to stabilise weak or injured joints.
